Senior Site Reliability Engineer

 Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, automated, user-friendly systems, tools, and processes.
• Able to build automation tasks using Jenkins / Ansible
• Create CI/CD Pipeline using Jenkins to automate the deployment process
• Advance level expertise in Scripting languages such as Powershell, Batch, Bash, Python, Perl
• Develop scripts and automation to deploy and manage our infrastructure configuration.
• Collaborate with development / Operations teams to enhance, document, establish process improvements, and drive operational excellence.
• Monitor the health and performance of services and respond to system issues as necessary.
• Participate in on-call rotations, providing support and incident management for production systems.
• Document systems, processes, and decisions for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in working on large scale single or multiple cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in writing Scripts using multi scripting languages like Python / Perl / Bash / Powershell and batch
• Experience with Jenkins and able to create Jenkin pipelines to automate BAU tasks.
• understanding of Windows and Linux/Unix Administration would be added advantage.
• Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Jenkins and Ansible and able to Build pipelines and automation tasks
• Advance level expertise in any of two Scripting language such as Powershell, python, Batch, Bash, Python, Perl
• Experience with any of the Devops tools and datadog monitoring would be a plus
• Understanding of Windows and Linux OS administration
