Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential customers or clients. Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers. Understand customer needs and preferences to tailor sales pitches and offers accordingly.
  • Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: Present products or services to prospective customers, highlighting features and benefits. Conduct product demonstrations to illustrate usage and value.
  • Negotiation and Closing Deals: Negotiate terms of sale, pricing, and payment agreements within company guidelines. Close sales and secure contracts or purchase orders.
  • Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop sales strategies and tactics to achieve targets. Plan and organize sales activities, including setting objectives, forecasting, and developing action plans.
  • Product Knowledge and Training: Stay informed about products or services offered. Educate customers on product features, benefits, and applications.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences. Analyze sales data and customer feedback to make informed business decisions.
  • Customer Support: Address customer issues or complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions. Prepare regular sales reports and performance metrics for management.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work with colleagues, including marketing and customer service teams, to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and achieve common targets.
  • Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Follow company policies, guidelines, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
  • Continuous Learning and Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, sales techniques, and best practices. Seek feedback and actively improve sales skills and performance.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales within the gems and jewelry industry.
  • Strong ability to generate leads, manage customer relationships, and close deals.
