About this role:

  • Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Control Management Specialist for Enterprise Functions Control management Team.
  • The EF Control @I&P is responsible for delivering a more consistent approach to business operations across Wells Fargo, strengthening the company's risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers.

  • In this role, you will:
  • Participate in identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating current and emerging risk exposures within Control Management functional area
  • Provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes, and business controls
  • Monitor moderately complex business specific programs and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies
  • Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area
  • Provide guidance to business groups on the development, implementation, and monitoring of business specific programs to identify, assess, and mitigate risk
  • Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from reputed institution
  • Experience managing/coordinating complex programs in financial services environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and facilitation skill. 
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience/Exposure with business intelligence tools and dashboard creation (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). 
  • Working experience with Alteryx.

  • Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in the identification of strategic ideas, evaluation, and approval process of identified opportunities.
  • Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management relating to assigned operations.
  • Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of international business.
  • Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, standardization, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners.
  • Work under stringent timelines, maintain strong engagement with multiple functions and stakeholders.
