Senior Qa Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality and usability of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing and will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.
• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure quality, functionality, and usability.
• Design, develop, and implement automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Postman, TestNG, or JUnit.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and resolve defects.
• Identify, document, and track bugs thoroughly using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Perform regression testing to ensure resolved bugs do not reoccur.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts, test case creation, and defect reporting.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Postman, and JUnit.
• Experience in writing automated test scripts for both UI and API testing.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
