Senior QA Engineer

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-sufficient, analytically driven professional with a strong passion for quality and product ownership. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products, mentoring junior team members, and driving best practices within the quality assurance process.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Analysis: Critically analyze requirements (epics and stories), identify gaps, and ensure findings are tracked and resolved.
• Test Strategy & Execution: Document and enforce testing procedures. Write detailed test cases to ensure optimal coverage and prepare traceability matrices.
• Quality Assurance: Methodically document steps to reproduce problems and effectively communicate bugs to developers while maintaining positive relationships. You will also review test deliverables from other team members.
• Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior QA engineers on effective test design principles and help them create more cohesive work.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive best practices within the team and leverage your knowledge to promote quality. You will also call out issues immediately and propose solutions to the Product Owner and the team.
• Reporting & Communication: Track and report on testing activities, including results, coverage, and defect status. You must have strong written and spoken English skills and be able to communicate effectively in meetings.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: A Bachelor's degree with work experience in the software testing lifecycle, working as part of a team.
• Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of the graphics arts for the printing industry is a must.
• Skills:
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities and self-initiative to learn new testing methodologies.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Test management tools and writing and executing SQL Queries is a plus. Test automation knowledge is also desirable.
• Communication: Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Collaboration: The ability to work as part of a global team.
• Mentorship: Proven ability to mentor junior QA engineers.
