Musts

• The potential candidate should have a minimum of 5+ years' experience and should have mandatorily worked on data engineering projects. 
• The candidate should have 5+ years experience testing data pipelines, data warehouses and should possess strong SQL knowledge. Testing activities would entail data reconciliation and data quality checks such as data comparison, data validation etc. SQL knowledge is a MUST.
• Tester must have knowledge of AWS cloud-based tools and technology namely – Redshift, Glue and/or DBT. 

Good to have:

• The tester should have a good understanding of DW data models such as star schema and snowflake schema. 
• The tester should be able to develop scripts using Shell script or Python. 
• Tester should be able to perform testing with various data loads and measure the throughput and latency. Knowledge of tools such as JMeter would be an added advantage. 
• Tester should have knowledge of testing the backend database (DW) with initial full load and/or varying levels of incremental data loads and gauge the stability and reliability of the database. 
• Tester should have a fair understanding of storage, retention and data archival. 
• Tester must know how to write and automate test cases. 

 Please look for 5 to 7 years' experience and consider CTC X3 of the total experience.
