Senior Python Backend Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop clean, maintainable, and high-performance Python code.
• Build and maintain backend components to ensure application responsiveness and scalability.
• Design and implement APIs and system integrations.
• Develop web applications using Django and other Python frameworks.
• Implement server-side logic to support front-end components.
• Design, manage, and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases with focus on performance and integrity.
• Write and optimize complex database queries.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, QA, and DevOps to deliver full-stack solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to overall code quality and development best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years Hands-on experience in Python development, including framework like Django.
• Programming: Strong proficiency in Python, with familiarity with its standard libraries and best practices.
• Frameworks: Proven experience in Django; additional exposure to Flask or FastAPI is a plus.
• API Development: Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Databases: Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Tools: Familiarity with version control tools like Git, and CI/CD practices.
• Problem Solving: Strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Collaboration: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in an Agile environment.
• Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Candidates from IITs and NITs are an added advantage.
