Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and seasoned Senior Project Manager, Project Lead, or Project Manager to take full accountability for all aspects of a project. This leadership role is responsible for building and managing a high-performing team to meet and exceed client expectations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial construction, specifically with High Voltage Products Manufacturing Plants, and a proven track record of successful end-to-end project delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Accountability:
  • Provide leadership and set the course for the project, with overall accountability for its successful delivery within established timelines, budget, and quality standards.
  • Assess client requirements and strategize the implementation of project design methods to optimize constructability, quality, cost, and time.
  • Formulate and implement procurement and execution strategies that align with business and project needs.
  • Stakeholder & Team Management:
  • Lead project design review meetings to ensure alignment with client objectives and overall business strategy.
  • Manage multiple stakeholder scenarios, including client teams, design teams, quality consultants, audit teams, and others.
  • Manage escalations and solutions at the highest levels of multiple stakeholders.
  • Interface internally within the organization for all strategic matters.
  • Project Execution & Control:
  • Review construction methods for feasibility and identify opportunities for improvement and cost-effective alternatives.
  • Oversee the overall monitoring and control of project execution.
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and implement them after stakeholder sign-off.
  • Ensure the contract between the client and the company is fully implemented.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Transfer:
  • Ensure a thorough project close-out with all required documentation.
  • Ensure the transfer of lessons learned from previous projects and implement them in the current one.
  • Implement all company policies at the project site.

Skills

  • Strong experience in Industrial construction, with a specific focus on High Voltage Products (Breakers/disconnectors and switches) Manufacturing Plants.
  • Technical awareness of civil, electro-mechanical, and architectural works.
  • Excellent organizational and motivational skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a team to achieve project goals.

Qualifications

  • A B.E. Civil degree.
  • Professional experience in relevant industrial construction projects.
  • Must have completed at least one to two High Voltage Products Manufacturing Plant projects from start to finish.
  • Experience working with a Project Management Consultancy is considered a valuable asset.
