Senior Project Manager

About the Role:

• Leadership & Expertise: Lead and oversee electrical engineering tasks for critical mission projects, ensuring timely responses to all queries from stakeholders.
• Project Management: Manage the implementation of projects in accordance with the design, standards, and local regulations. Oversee the design and construction of significant elements such as IBMS, HVAC, Mechanical, and Electrical interfaces on projects.
• Technical Specifications: Review technical specifications and tender documents for engineered equipment, materials, engineering, and construction service contracts.
• Procurement & Commissioning: Supervise procurement, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify project risks and create risk mitigation plans. Ensure safety requirements are met at all stages of the project.
• Lessons Learned: Ensure previous lessons learned are incorporated into current project execution to avoid past issues.
• Scheduling & Coordination: Oversee scheduling and coordination of internal and external resources to ensure timely project completion.
• Project Documentation: Prepare agendas, business requirements, procurement strategies, safety plans, master budgets, and timelines, ensuring that all project objectives and client needs are met.
• Testing & Commissioning: Knowledge of data centre testing and commissioning procedures, ensuring all punch list/issue log activities are completed in a timely manner for smooth RFS (Ready for Service).
• Client & Vendor Relations: Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, support sales with initial and follow-up quotations, and coordinate with plants and business units for parts and services.
• Team Development: Promote best practices and support the development of the project team to maximize efficiency and effective delivery.
• Closeouts: Handle technical and commercial closeouts for the project.

About You:

• Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 7 to 10 years of experience in building-related electrical works, preferably in mission-critical projects.
