Senior Program Manager

Key Responsibilities:

ART Performance & Efficiency (MxS Accountability)

• Act as a servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train.
• Facilitate and lead PI Planning and all key ART ceremonies: ART Sync, Scrum of Scrums, System Demo, Inspect & Adapt.
• Maintain and improve flow, predictability, and collaboration across teams.
• Drive continuous improvement through root-cause analysis, Inspect & Adapt workshops, and structured improvement initiatives.
• Foster a DevOps and Continuous Delivery culture, integrating cloud-based pipelines with on-premises testing.
• Own end-to-end ART efficiency, ensuring sustainable delivery aligned with MxS targets.
• Monitor key flow metrics: predictability, throughput, quality, stability.

Stakeholder & Organizational Leadership

• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and impediments across teams and suppliers.
• Partner with Product Management, System Architects, and engineering leads to align strategy, architecture, and execution.
• Provide transparency to senior leadership on ART performance, risks, and dependencies.
• Act as escalation point for cross-team, cross-department, and supplier challenges.

Line Management & Team Development

• Lead and develop a team of Scrum Masters within the ART.
• Conduct coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews for Scrum Masters.
• Ensure consistent application of Agile and SAFe practices across teams.
• Build a Scrum Master community of practice to encourage knowledge exchange and improvement.
• Align with department leadership on capacity planning, training, and talent development.
• This is a formal line management role with proven experience leading people.
