Job Description
- Involved in the complete product design process from research to mass production
- Brainstorm and ideate the engineering details of the kazam products and services
- Use design software to develop 3d models and drawings of new products
- Utilize expertise in plastic design and DFM principles to optimize component design for manufacturability and assembly
- Demonstrate strong team handling and soft skills to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams and provide leadership within the engineering department
- Come up with cost-effective solutions by considering mass production
- Research about latest engineering practices and contribute to the industrial design team
- Apply proficiency in manufacturing tool knowledge to streamline production processes, including familiarity with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation
- Keeping up with the deadlines
- Documentation of each and every step during the process in a good presentable manner
- Communicate and monitor the new designs with other departments
- Conducting feasibility studies, creating prototypes, and testing designs to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product design meets customer needs, including manufacturing, quality, and marketing teams
- Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and product documentation
