Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager - Sales & Marketing to lead sales and business growth for the Gear & Shafts Division. This role requires a strategic professional who can drive business development, manage key accounts, lead a team, and handle techno-commercial operations.
Role & Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with the company's growth strategy.
- Manage key customer accounts and develop long-term relationships.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Generate inquiries, follow up on leads, and prepare and negotiate proposals.
Marketing & Strategy:
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns and product promotions.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify new segments.
- Prepare annual sales forecasts, budgets, and strategic business plans.
Techno-Commercial Operations:
- Understand technical specifications and provide product demonstrations.
- Act as a bridge between customers and internal technical/product teams.
- Provide technical solutions, application support, and post-sales service coordination.
- Prepare cost sheets, quotations, and negotiate pricing with a profit-focused mindset.
Team Management:
- Lead, guide, and mentor a team of sales engineers or regional managers.
- Review team performance and ensure continuous skill development.
- Coordinate with other departments like production, R&D, and finance for seamless execution.
Reporting & MIS:
- Maintain and update sales reports, funnel data, and forecasts.
- Present monthly and quarterly business reviews to top management.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of driving sales and business growth for the Gear & Shafts Division.
- Proven ability in sales and business development.
- Experience in marketing strategy and market research.
- Strong techno-commercial skills, including technical solution provision and quotation preparation.
- Excellent team management and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales forecasting.
