Senior Manager - Portfolio

A strategic leadership role entrusted with managing multiple teams led by Managers and/or Team Leads. This position is responsible for setting and executing departmental direction, translating business vision into operational outcomes, and driving cross-functional performance. The role demands advanced problem-solving capabilities and strong executive presence to influence organizational practices, foster alignment, and guide stakeholders through change.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight and execution of departmental goals in line with organizational objectives.
• Lead and inspire cross-functional teams through intermediate layers of leadership (Managers/Team Leads).
• Navigate and resolve complex business and operational issues through data-driven analysis and strategic planning.
• Influence executive leadership and stakeholders to drive adoption of initiatives and operational best practices.
• Build a high-performance culture through mentorship, capability development, and succession planning.
• Ensure alignment between functional execution and enterprise-level priorities.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning for the department.

Education & Experience

• Qualification: MBA / PGDBM or equivalent postgraduate degree
• Experience: 12–15 years in progressively responsible managerial roles, with demonstrable leadership of large teams and strategic initiatives
