Senior Manager (L5) – Proto Assembly & Fab Engineer

Lead the Proto Assembly and Fab Shop activities to meet production and proto plans.

Ensure adherence to quality standards, cost targets, safety norms, and efficient resource utilization.

Oversee prototype manufacturing functions, including material procurement and assessment of foreign proto vendors.

Coordinate with Head Design, COCs, CE teams, and internal Proto-Shop teams for status updates, requirements, and risk management.

Manage shop floor activities, line layouts, line balancing, and productivity improvements.

Apply lean manufacturing principles, TQM/TPM, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and industrial engineering expertise.

Ensure compliance with automotive standards (TS 16949) and leverage CAD, CAM, PLM, and rapid prototyping techniques.
