Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Strategy Analysis & Development:
  • Analyze current business practices and assess operational efficiency.
  • Identify different operational strategies being used within the company.
  • Work with the team to develop the current operational strategy using the most recent technologies to improve processes.
  • Coordinate with the operations manager to take necessary steps based on brainstorming and research.
  • Operational Optimization:
  • Optimize operations across various departments of the company to ensure efficiency.
  • Fit operational strategies with the company's culture and values, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Implement and monitor the strategy across departments to ensure it is working effectively.
  • Strategy Implementation & Supervision:
  • Implement operational strategies in different departments, ensuring smooth transition and minimal disruption.
  • Supervise the strategy implementation, ensuring that all employees follow the company's operational guidelines and processes.
  • Regularly monitor performance to ensure that strategies are delivering the desired results.
  • Customer Service & Team Training:
  • In a customer service-driven company, the Deputy Operations Manager will collaborate with the team to ensure clients receive high-quality service.
  • Offer required training and courses to the team to improve communication and customer interaction.
  • Work closely with the customer service team to ensure that customer issues are handled correctly and promptly.
  • Project Management & Logistics Operations:
  • Monitor ongoing projects to ensure they are following the right operational processes and are aligned with the overall strategy.
  • Check logistics operations to make sure that all logistics processes are optimized and operating smoothly.
  • Ensure that any operational issues related to logistics or projects are addressed immediately.
  • Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement:
  • Solve operational challenges and issues as they arise, ensuring that operational strategies are implemented effectively.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for improvement in operations and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Work on improving the overall operational performance through regular evaluations and adaptations to strategies.
  • Team Coordination & Communication:
  • Regularly communicate company strategies and regulations to employees, ensuring that everyone understands and follows the operation process.
  • Lead meetings and training sessions to ensure the team stays updated on the company's goals and operational strategies.
  • Reporting & Updates:
  • Issue weekly and monthly reports to the operations manager, providing updates on the operational strategies and any challenges faced.
  • Track key performance metrics (KPIs) and present data-driven insights to help improve operational efficiency.
  • Qualifications & Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. MBA or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in operations management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in operational strategy development, process optimization, and team management.
  • Background in customer service operations and logistics management is a plus.
