Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with extensive experience in backend development, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices. The role requires expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, AWS cloud services, and modern stream processing frameworks. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions while contributing to cloud architecture and containerized environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java/Spring Boot microservices and APIs.
• Cloud Services: Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on AWS, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and related services.
• Stream Processing: Implement real-time data processing solutions using Kafka Streams and work with messaging systems like Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Database Management: Design and maintain relational databases such as PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• DevOps and CI/CD: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Terraform, Nexus, and other DevOps tools.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, and ECS.
• Financial Messaging (Optional): Work with financial domain messaging formats such as XML, JSON, or mainframe message formats.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of Java development experience with strong Spring Boot expertise
• 3+ years hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
• Strong experience in stream processing frameworks (Kafka Streams, Apache Kafka, Confluent Kafka)
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
• Experience with DevOps tools: Jenkins, Terraform, Nexus, CI/CD
• Experience in containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS/ECS
