Senior GIS Developer

Nair Systems, is a DIFC based, boutique leading edge technology consulting and professional services firm focusing on Digital Banking, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data & Data Analytics, Cyber Security, Blockchain and Cryptocurrency and Robotic Process Automation.  

Nair Systems is currently looking for Senior GIS Developer for our UAE operations.

Required Skills & Experience:

·      Strong expertise in ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, Server, Data Store, Web Adaptor) and Esri Web AppBuilder / Experience Builder.

·      Hands-on experience with ArcFM Desktop, utility networks, and advanced editing workflows.

·      Proficiency in spatial databases including Oracle Spatial, PostGIS, and enterprise geodatabase design.

·      Expert in Python scripting (ArcPy), ModelBuilder, and GIS automation.

·      Experience in full-stack web development: Angular, React, Node.js, integrating GIS services and dashboards.

·      Strong understanding of REST APIs, web services, and enterprise system integration.

·      Advanced knowledge of GIS data modeling, spatial analysis, geoprocessing, and visualization techniques

Key Responsibilities:

·      Design, develop, and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise applications, including Portal, Server, Web AppBuilder, and Experience Builder.

·      Configure, publish, and manage map services, feature services, and geoprocessing services for enterprise GIS workflows.

·      Develop and maintain custom GIS tools, automation scripts, and workflows using Python (ArcPy) and ModelBuilder.

·      Design, implement, and optimize spatial databases (ArcGIS Geodatabases, Oracle Spatial, PostGIS) ensuring data integrity and performance.

·      Integrate GIS solutions with enterprise systems, REST APIs, and external data sources, including modern web frameworks.

·      Perform advanced spatial analysis, geoprocessing, and visualization to support business decision-making.

·      Implement and support ArcFM Desktop workflows, including network tracing, connectivity analysis, Auto Updaters, and custom editing workflows for utility and network data management.
