Senior Full-Stack Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Laravel Backend Ownership:

• Lead the maintenance, optimization, and enhancement of the existing Laravel application.
• Ensure APIs are robust, secure, and performant to support the new Next.js frontend.

API Development & Refinement:

• Analyze existing Laravel APIs and collaborate with frontend teams to create or refactor endpoints optimized for Next.js.
• Ensure data integrity and business logic consistency throughout the migration process.

Frontend Development (Next.js/React):

• Participate in hands-on development of the new Next.js frontend.
• Implement components and integrate them seamlessly with Laravel APIs.
• Utilize React Hooks, state management (Redux or Context API), and Next.js concepts like SSR/SSG.

Code Quality & Testing:

• Establish and enforce high coding standards for both PHP and JavaScript.
• Conduct rigorous code reviews and drive best practices in development, security, and performance.
• Write unit and integration tests using PHPUnit (Laravel) and Jest/React Testing Library (React).

Troubleshooting Across the Stack:

• Debug and resolve complex issues spanning database queries, Laravel business logic, and client-side rendering in Next.js.

Mentorship & Collaboration:

• Mentor junior and mid-level developers.
• Work closely with product and design teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

DevOps & Infrastructure:

• Contribute to deployment, monitoring, and scaling efforts for both Laravel APIs and the Next.js application.
• Work with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean).
