Job Description

  • Vendor Management: Manage all vendor negotiations, pricing, and rate contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and effective rate contract management.
  • Strategy & Optimization: Develop and execute tailored procurement strategies for assigned categories, optimizing vendor selection and overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Negotiation & Selection: Evaluate vendor proposals, lead negotiations for long-term agreements, and select suppliers based on a balanced assessment of cost, quality, and reliability.
  • Contract Management: Draft and manage comprehensive agreements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), meticulously detailing pricing, quantities, specifications, and delivery terms.
  • Cost Control: Drive aggressive cost-saving initiatives, continuously monitor spending across categories, and ensure strict alignment with budget targets.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers, fostering continuous improvement through regular feedback and performance reviews.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Establish and maintain comprehensive reporting systems, ensuring accurate and timely Management Information Systems (MIS) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) updates for all procurement activities.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with market trends and innovations in procurement to implement best practices, particularly within surgical and medicine categories.
  • Issue Resolution: Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for resolving all supply chain management issues.
  • Data Analysis: Track and analyze spend data and other key performance indicators across categories to inform strategic decisions.
