Senior Engineer - Mechanical Design

Core Skills Required :

• CAD Software-Solid works/Fusion-360/Creo
• GD&T, ASME-Y-14.5 dimensioning and tolerancing,
• Material knowledge, mechanism design-calculations, mechanical component selection, plastic design engineering, DFMA,FAI,PPAP

Key Responsibilities :

• Design & development of MIKO-Bot mechanical components from concept to serial production, meeting standards & design requirements for functionality, robustness, cost effectiveness etc.
• Knowledge of Designing for robot components motor, transmission and assemblies, plastic design, Master sections creation, interaction with product team/CFT for different product development aspects, DFM and DFA,
• Well versed in New Product Design & Development processes.
• Highly skilled in 3D/2D CAD design using Solid works/Fusion-360/CATIA.
• Good working Knowledge of regulations and engineering processes like DFMEA, DVP, DFM, DFA and DFS, etc.
• Ability to specify realistic tolerances using GD&T, part drawing according to ASME-Y-14.5 standard.
• PLM knowledge and knowledge of robot BOM and Engineering BOM.
• Good knowledge in plastic design engineering & Surface modelling
• CATIA (Any CAD) expertise, surface modeling, assembly modeling, 3D annotations interaction, in solid.
