SENIOR ENGINEER - DATA ANALYTICS

Job Summary

A technically proficient individual with 2–5 years of experience in data engineering, capable of interpreting and solving complex problems through innovation and adaptation. Operates with limited supervision while engaging with cross-functional teams and customers for technical resolutions and improvements. Shows a continual drive to upgrade their skills and deepen expertise in their specialization.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, document, and support data-related software modules.
• Ensure on-time delivery aligned with quality and productivity benchmarks.
• Follow process checklists, coding standards, and best practices.
• Provide regular updates and reports to the Team Lead or Project Manager.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external customers for issue resolution.
• Support technical training initiatives and contribute to project-specific learning.
• Enhance personal technical skills via training, self-study, and assessments.

Education & Experience

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech, MCA, or equivalent.
• Experience: 2–5 years in data engineering or a related role.

Data Infrastructure & Storage:

• Development and maintenance of relational & non-relational databases.

Data Pipeline Development (ETL/ELT):

• Data cleansing, transformation, and aggregation across large data sets.

Business Intelligence & Reporting:

• Creation of scheduled dashboards, reports, and self-service BI tools.

Cloud Expertise:

• Implementation of data workflows across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Technical Proficiency With Tools:

• Databases & Big Data: MongoDB, Hive, HBase, Spark, ElasticSearch
• Visualization Tools: Tableau, PowerBI, QlikView
• Programming: Python, Scala, R, SQL
