Job Description
We are seeking a proactive Senior Engineer / Asst. Manager to manage all contracts related to building projects. This role is crucial for studying contract legalities, negotiating terms and conditions with clients and third parties, and preparing legal documents that outline terms of service and project deliverables. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders to ensure project success.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Contract Management & Negotiation:
- Discuss, draft, review, and negotiate the terms of business contracts.
- Prepare tenders for clients and commercial bids to help bring in new business.
- Agree on budgets and timescales with clients.
- Project Planning & Execution:
- Develop and present project proposals.
- Meet with clients to understand their requirements.
- Produce plans and estimate budgets and timescales.
- Manage construction schedules and budgets.
- Deal with any unexpected costs that may arise.
- Coordination & Communication:
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, site, and project managers.
- Work with third parties to ensure everyone understands their roles and responsibilities.
- Liaise with technical and financial staff, subcontractors, legal teams, and the client's own representatives.
- Attend site meetings to monitor progress.
- Quality & Compliance:
- Ensure construction projects meet agreed-upon technical standards.
- Oversee invoicing at the end of a project.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to construction contracts.
- Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential contractual risks.

Qualifications
