SENIOR ENGINEER

A skilled telecommunications engineer with 2–5 years of experience in modem/UE protocol stack testing and network interoperability validation across 2G through 5G technologies. Demonstrates a strong command of 3GPP standards, network signaling, and test automation. Operates with limited supervision to analyze complex problems, contribute to risk identification, and ensure high-quality deliverables. Regularly collaborates with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues and uphold quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain test plans and cases for modem protocol stack testing (Layer 2, Layer 3, NAS).
• Conduct interoperability testing with major network vendors (e.g., Ericsson, Nokia, Alcatel-Lucent) and perform issue triage.
• Analyze signaling and user plane call flows; collect logs and conduct core dump analysis using industry-standard tools.
• Automate test cases using PERL, Python, and TTCN within established frameworks and scripting environments.
• Interact with interfacing teams and customers for technical clarification and resolution.
• Document results, adhere to delivery timelines, and ensure process compliance.
• Continuously upgrade skills through trainings, self-learning, and technical assessments.
• Contribute to team knowledge-sharing and support internal technical initiatives.

Education & Experience

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent
• Experience: 2–5 years in protocol stack validation or wireless communication testing
