Senior Dialysis Technician
Job Description
• Conduct diagnostic cardiology tests including electrocardiograms, phonocardiograms, echocardiograms, and stress tests using appropriate electronic equipment.
• Ensure patient comfort by addressing questions and explaining procedures before and during testing.
• Record and document test results accurately, coordinating with the physician on duty to schedule follow-up tests when needed.
• Assist physicians during non-invasive cardiology procedures by monitoring patient heart rates and reporting abnormal readings promptly.
• Maintain cardiology equipment through daily cleaning, calibration, and necessary adjustments to ensure optimal functioning.
• Track inventory levels of cardiology supplies and replenish the storeroom as required.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report malfunctions to supervisors for timely resolution.
• Stay informed about advancements in cardiology by attending relevant conferences and participating in research-related activities.
• Support high-quality patient care within the cardiology unit through effective communication and adherence to clinical standards.
