Senior DevOps Engineer - Confluent Cloud and Kafka Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters, including Helm Chart and Harness configurations, to support infrastructure needs.
• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Utilize Confluent Cloud and Kafka expertise to architect and optimize event streaming solutions for real-time data processing and analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and maintain database systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
• Work closely with development teams to streamline software delivery and release cycles in an Agile environment.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve infrastructure and development processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in DevOps, with a focus on Confluent Cloud, Kafka, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters, including Helm Chart and Harness configurations.
• Strong proficiency in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience with database systems such as Google BigQuery, MySQL, XtraDB, AWS Aurora, etc.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
• Experience with multi-cloud infrastructure, including both private and public cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
