Job Description
- Managing the team to ensure technical excellence and process adherence
- Designing scalable, multi-tenant data collectors and storage systems
- Building streaming and batch data processing pipelines
- Developing SQL and NoSQL data models
- Assessing and enhancing the quality of incoming data flows
- Applying advanced AI techniques and data management/security components
- Creating customizable analytical dashboards
- Evaluating opportunities presented by emerging technologies
- Implementing strong testing and quality assurance practices
- Engineering degree or equivalent
- 8+ years of experience in IT, digital companies, software, or startups
- Proficiency in data processing and software development using tools like QlikSense, PowerApps, Power BI, or Java/Scala
- Experience with Apache Spark and other data processing frameworks
- Strong statistical skills (e.g., probability theories, regression, hypothesis testing)
- Expertise in machine learning techniques and algorithms (e.g., Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Clustering)
- Proficiency in data science methods (CRISP-DM, feature engineering, model evaluation)
- Experience with Python and R libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit)
- Deep knowledge of SQL database configuration (e.g., Postgres, MariaDB, MySQL)
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Docker, Ansible) and version control (e.g., Git)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus
- Understanding of network and security principles (e.g., SSL, certificates, IPSEC)
- Fluent in English; French is a plus
