Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:
- Academic Implementation & Support:
- Ensure the timely dissemination and implementation of curriculum plans, including lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments across schools.
- Coordinate and monitor the preparation, dispatch, and delivery of question papers according to the academic calendar.
- Track daily and weekly academic delivery across schools, ensuring timely syllabus completion and academic targets are met.
- Provide guidance and clarification to schools on curriculum-related queries and resolve any academic challenges.
- Quality Assurance & Monitoring:
- Review academic deliverables, including lesson plans, worksheets, and question papers, to ensure they are accurate, align with learning objectives, and are appropriate for the target age group.
- Conduct regular academic audits, evaluate academic delivery, and share detailed reports with relevant stakeholders.
- Identify gaps or challenges in the academic implementation process, working closely with relevant teams to resolve them and ensure smooth academic operations.
- Coordination & Communication:
- Act as the key point of contact between the curriculum development team and school academic teams, facilitating smooth communication and collaboration.
- Coordinate with school coordinators and principals to share academic updates, address support requests, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and trackers for academic delivery and progress monitoring, ensuring alignment with school academic goals and timelines.
- Training & Orientation:
- Support in training school academic staff on academic delivery expectations, assessment guidelines, and the effective use of learning materials.
- Facilitate orientation sessions for new academic staff, ensuring they are well-versed in tools, formats, and protocols to execute the curriculum effectively.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive trackers for:
- Question paper delivery and ensuring that it aligns with academic schedules.
- Academic delivery schedules to ensure timely execution of lesson plans and assessments.
- Worksheet dispatch and usage to monitor engagement and effectiveness of learning materials.
- Generate periodic reports on academic implementation, providing insights to senior management for review and action.
- Qualifications and Skills:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in academic coordination, curriculum implementation, or related roles.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of curriculum delivery, academic planning, and education standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple academic projects and timelines.
- Communication skills to liaise effectively with school staff, principals, and the curriculum development team.
- Proficiency in using educational tools and learning management systems.
- Strong analytical skills for tracking and reporting academic progress and addressing issues.
