Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take on managerial and execution role in the Restructuring team by assuming responsibility for the day-to-day operation of restructuring assignments in accordance with the project requirements
  • Provide reports to the Directors and Managing Directors where appropriate, delegating tasks as required to other members of the team and ensuring their timely completion
  • To take ownership of work assignments and manage their own workload.
  • Identify and discuss with the manager issues and obstacles as they arise, suggesting solutions to overcome and progress matters
  • Ensure deadlines are met and case progression can be demonstrated across own portfolio
  • Be able to work on several different assignments effectively at one time
  • Visit client premises/offices and liaise with client s employees, agents and solicitors as necessary
  • Strong understanding of reading and analyzing financial statements, preparation of financial models and marketing collaterals
  • Handle and respond, within acceptable timescales, to case related correspondence and telephone calls from stakeholders, clients and creditors
  • Assume responsibility for client relations and liaise with clients, clients employees, agents and solicitors as necessary
  • Build and maintain relationships with other professionals, referring work where appropriate to those professionals and where possible finding referrals
  • Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of both Kroll and job holder
  • Adhere to Kroll systems, policy requirements and relevant Health & Safety policy
  • Be willing to travel internally

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous restructuring / transactions / special situations experience desirable
  • A minimum of 4-5 years financial/commercial experience in India - Big 4, investment banking or equivalent, with experience in audit, management accounting, valuation or M&A
  • The ideal candidate will possess finance relation educational qualifications such as Chartered Accountant, CFA, Master s degree in Finance, Accounting or MBA in Finance
  • Strong academic track record
  • Ability to manage confidential, sensitive information
