Inviting applications for the role of Senior Associate , SRE Engineer
As the need for reliability grows with every critical application that we add to our landscape, we seek for an experienced SRE to help our tribe become more reliability driven by setting up the right design patterns and processes to make sure we have an observable, reliable and if possible self-healing product landscape. With the experience you bring, you will play a vital role in managing and leading a team while also keeping them motivated.
Responsibilities-
Batch Monitoring: Monitoring & resolving/escalating batches/failures/ensuring completeness.
Data Control Alert Monitoring: Data control ONLY alerts generated using Alamo alerting rules.
Data Pipeline Rerun/backfills: To ensure post an incident or data quality issues, impacted surveillances are rerun to ensure completeness/accuracy.
Incident Management (Batch): Perform Incident Management for Batches (Captures CAT - Completeness, Accuracy, Timeliness).
Incident - Post Mortem Report: Ensure timely completion of Incident PMR.
Alerts (Data Control OR Batch): Ensure to hold the SLA responsiveness thresholds and deep dive/help drive alert reduction.
User Support: Timely response & addressing user support requests ensuring good user experience.
Optimizations/Improvements: Ensure continuous efforts into identifying frequent issues and help drive down the same.

Minimum Qualifications
B. TECH
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Proficiency in Core Java with knowledge of data structures, Collections. Memory Management, Stack Trace
Good knowledge of Unix and Shell Scripting
Good knowledge of SQL and Relational Databases
Practical knowledge of Spring/Spring boot framework
Good Knowledge in Hadoop & big data technologies.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong knowledge Incident Management and Alert Management
Strong written and verbal Communication
Additional optional criteria which will be considered separately as a 'plus':
Strong plus - Experience in applying SRE concepts
You have a crystal-clear understanding of Agile WoW
You actively keep up to date with the latest developments and to incorporate them in your work
