Inviting applications for the role of Senior Associate, Procurement
In this role, you will be responsible for executing end-to-end procurement processes, including vendor management, purchase order (PO) processing, cost negotiations, and inventory coordination to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing.
Responsibilities
Create and manage Purchase Orders based on Purchase Requisitions (PRs).
Review vendor quotations and maintain accurate cost sheets.
Conduct basic negotiations to achieve cost savings.
Track and report vendor delivery performance.
Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and shipment.
Support procurement of indirect materials and services.
Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Stores, Quality Control) for seamless operations.
Assist in vendor onboarding and documentation compliance.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline.
Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data cleaning).
Strong understanding of materials, services, and category management.
Hands-on experience with ERP purchasing modules (SAP MM, Oracle, etc.).
Knowledge of tax regulations (GST) and commercial terms
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management preferred.
