Senior Android Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs (REST/JSON).
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Required Skills:

• Proficient in Android SDK, Kotlin and/or Java.
• Experience with MVVM/MVP architecture.
• Strong understanding of Material Design, Jetpack components, and Android UI/UX guidelines.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Knowledge of SQLite, Room Database, and local storage management.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Good understanding of Google Play Store deployment and app lifecycle.
• Experience with Firebase, Push Notifications, Analytics, etc.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bitrise).
• Knowledge of Unit Testing and UI Testing (JUnit, Espresso).
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
