Selenium Automation Test Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Selenium Automation Test Engineer to design develop and maintain automated test solutions for webbased applications The role focuses on ensuring high product quality by implementing robust automation frameworks executing regression suites and integrating automated tests within CICD pipelines

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver

Build and enhance automation frameworks POM DataDriven BDD

Automate functional regression and smoke test cases for web applications

Execute automated test suites and analyze test results

Identify log and track defects using defect management tools eg JIRA

Collaborate closely with developers manual testers and product owners to understand requirements

Integrate automation scripts with CICD tools such as Jenkins

Perform crossbrowser testing Chrome Edge Firefox

Maintain test data test reports and automation documentation

Support API automation testing where required

Required Skills Qualifications

Strong handson experience with Selenium WebDriver

Proficiency in Java preferred or equivalent automation language

Experience with testing frameworks TestNG JUnit

Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle STLC

Experience with build tools such as Maven Gradle

Familiarity with Git GitHub version control

Knowledge of locators XPath CSS Selectors

Experience using defect tracking and test management tools
