Scrum Master

Job Summary

1. Act as Scrum Master for Agile teams, facilitating ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
2. Coach and mentor Scrum team members on Agile principles and practices, ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies.
3. Remove impediments and foster an environment conducive to team collaboration and productivity.
4. Collaborate closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize backlog items and refine requirements.
5. Track and report on project progress, identifying risks and dependencies.
6. Serve as a liaison between the development team and business stakeholders, translating business requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
7. Conduct requirements gathering sessions and document user stories, business processes, and functional specifications.
8. Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements.
9. Analyze and document business processes, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
10. Contribute to project planning and estimation activities, providing insights into business requirements and technical feasibility.

What are we looking for

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification preferred.
3. Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
4. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
5. Experience in business analysis, including requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation.
6. Proficiency in gathering and documenting user stories, business processes, and functional specifications.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
9. Experience working with Agile project management tools such as Jira.
10. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
