Key Responsibilities

Student Welfare

• Develop a deep understanding of the community profile and orient teachers about parent and community contexts.
• Collect and maintain comprehensive student and parent information at the time of admission.
• Identify, monitor, and address issues related to attendance, punctuality, and retention through regular home visits.
• Provide intensive case management and support to high-risk students through strong stakeholder engagement.
• Facilitate access to essential external services such as medical check-ups, documentation (caste certificates, income certificates), scholarships, and learning disability assessments.
• Conduct Socio-Emotional Learning (SEL) sessions within the school.
• Track interventions and maintain detailed documentation of student progress.

Parent Engagement

• Co-create a parent engagement strategy in collaboration with the School Leader.
• Execute parent meetings, workshops, and regular communication initiatives effectively.
• Use parent forums to build trust, address challenges, and strengthen school-community relationships.
• Form and facilitate School Management Committee meetings and initiatives.
• Encourage and coordinate parent volunteering to support school operations.

Community Development

• Identify and mobilize community resources to enhance students' educational experiences (e.g., study spaces, playgrounds, libraries).
• Act as a bridge between the school and the local community.
• Build and strengthen relationships with corporators, local influencers, and community leaders.
• Support partnerships that improve access to opportunities and resources for students.
