Key Responsibilities

School Design

• Develop a three-year vision and strategy for the school.
• Design the student week, unit, and year, considering school context and resources.
• Manage school operations, including facility management, data recording, submission, and government permissions in collaboration with the Network Team.
• Create and sustain a nurturing and high-performing staff and student culture.
• Monitor day-to-day school functioning and drive progress toward the school vision.
• Systematize documentation of best practices and resources to support other schools.
• Collaborate with the Finance Team to optimize budgets and equip the team effectively.

Team Management

• Understand each staff member deeply and co-create ambitious end-of-year goals.
• Coach staff members on design, execution, and reflection of their work.
• Review staff progress quarterly and identify critical levers for improvement.
• Define and cultivate a healthy, high-performing staff culture; lead regular culture norming meetings.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure win-win career paths and staff retention.

Stakeholder Investment

• Build and maintain partnerships with local elected leaders and education officers to achieve school goals.
• Work with the School Management Committee and parent body to leverage their support.
• Engage funding and volunteering partners to provide necessary resources for staff and students.
