School Principal

Key Responsibilities:

School Design

• Develop a three-year vision and strategy for the school
• Design the student week, unit, and year, considering the school context and available resources
• Manage school operations, including facility management, data recording, submissions, and government permissions
• Foster a nurturing and high-performing staff and student culture
• Monitor day-to-day functioning and drive continuous improvement toward the school vision
• Document best practices and resources to replicate across schools
• Collaborate with the Finance Team to optimize budgets and resource allocation

Team Management

• Build a deep understanding of each staff member's strengths and co-create ambitious end-of-year goals
• Coach staff in design, execution, and reflection of their work
• Review staff progress quarterly and identify levers for improvement
• Build and sustain a healthy, high-performing staff culture
• Lead regular culture norming meetings for alignment and refinement
• Collaborate with HR to ensure career growth and retention of staff members

Stakeholder Investment

• Cultivate partnerships with local elected leaders and education officers
• Engage the School Management Committee and parent body to leverage their support
• Work with funding and volunteering partners to provide resources for staff and students
