Scaffolding Supervisor (AIL)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Scaffolding Assurance Program across the project site.
• Supervise all scaffold erections, dismantling, and modification activities at the site.
• Educate the BP Scaffolding team on AIL Scaffolding guidelines through training sessions.
• Inspect and certify scaffolding materials used by BP at the site.
• Guide the BP team on scaffold erection, correction, and necessary modifications.
• Conduct initial and weekly inspections for scaffolding certification, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
• Maintain detailed records of all scaffolds erected across Zone-4.
• Identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and near-miss cases related to scaffolding; discuss with site teams and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Promote scaffolding safety awareness through safety meetings, on-site job training, and toolbox talks.
• Implement AIL safety scaffolding guidelines and safe work methods at the workplace.
• Ensure good housekeeping and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance during scaffold erection and dismantling.
• Conduct scaffolding audits with relevant stakeholders and ensure compliance every quarter.
• Maintain scaffolding registers and tag systems for each scaffold regularly.

Working Hours:

• 9 hours shift including 1-hour lunch break.
• General shift timing.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a scaffolding supervisor in chemical industry, petroleum refineries, petrochemical plants, hydrocarbon fertilizers, hydrocarbon industry, or process industry.
