Scada Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Ignition Certification - essential CORE Certification and desirable GOLD Certification
• The engineer should be able to Designs, program and maintains SCADA/HMI (Human Machine Interface) user interface using Ignition Designer.
• Should have an expertise in designing and implementing web interface using Ignition Perspective. Should have expertise in scripting in Python within Ignition.
• Experience in Interfacing with the OPC Server/Client and other external systems.
• Experience in Tag Historian and report function implementation
• Integration of Maria db /Influx db with the SCADA backend using SQL Bridge.
• Backup and Restore operations.
• Managing alarms, indicators, and alert notification.
• Integration with email and other messaging services.
• Should be proficient in program development using Structured Text (ST) and ExST under Codesys Automation Server and scripting.
• Experience of handling industrial protocols like Modbus, Profibus, EthernetIP, DNP3, etc.
• Experience in setting up and integration with OPC Server and OPC Client.
