Responsibilities:

• Requirements & Issue Resolution: Collaborate with business and IT teams to understand and address SAP BW-related requirements and issues.
• BW Application Management: Play a key role in the analysis, troubleshooting, maintenance, and enhancement of SAP Business Warehouse applications and front-end reports.
• Functional Specification Design: Work closely with business users to gather requirements and design functional specifications for data warehousing and reporting solutions.
• Impact Analysis: Maintain a clear understanding of the potential impacts of proposed solutions on other areas of the system and/or project.
• Architecture & Security Adherence: Implement and ensure adherence to architecture guidelines, security standards, and best practices in SAP BW solutions.
• Best Practices Promotion: Define and promote best practices for SAP BW and BI solutions.
• KPI Alignment: Ensure BW solutions align with major stakeholders' KPI standards and long-term roadmaps.
• System Collaboration: Collaborate with the administration team for system maintenance, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• ABAP Debugging: Perform BW-ABAP Debugging and code changes.

Data Quality Checks: Perform regular data quality checks, including:

• Process Chain monitoring
• Data reconciliation
• Monthly activities such as scheduled data uploads
• Daily data uploads
• Housekeeping and system maintenance
• Year-end activities, including bulk data uploads
• Handling service requests, including master data corrections
• Managing Change Requests (CRs)
• Incident management and troubleshooting issues efficiently

On-Call Support:

• Provide on-call and ad-hoc support based on business needs.

Required Skills:

Domain Knowledge:

• Intermediate functional knowledge of enterprise modules such as Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Logistics, Quality, Customer Relationship Management, and Project Management.

Technical:

• Strong proficiency in SAP BW (BW 7.x, BW4HANA, BW on HANA) and reporting solutions.
• Strong capabilities in BW reporting, extraction, and modeling, with a background in end-to-end implementations.
• Expertise in ABAP for BW, including Start, End, Expert, and Field-level routines, as well as debugging skills.
• Proficiency in gathering requirements for BI reporting solutions, including data visualization.
• Hands-on skills in BEx queries, including variables, customer exits, filters, conditions, and selections.
• Ability to document technical designs and BI solutions in high-level and detailed design documents.
• Good understanding of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and various SAP BusinessObjects (BO) tools; ability to collaborate with BO consultants effectively.
• Intermediate knowledge of databases and integration tools.
• Proficiency in SAP analysis for office.
• Knowledge of SAP SAC Stories and Models.

• Effective communication skills to bridge gaps between business users, developers, and IT support teams.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.

Certifications (Preferred):

• SAP certification in BW.
