SAP SD Consultant

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SD configuration, implementation, and support.
• Minimum 2 full-lifecycle carve-out projects involving SAP SD module.
• Deep functional knowledge of:
• Sales order management
• Delivery processing & shipment
• Billing and invoicing
• Pricing configuration
• Customer master data and partner functions
• Experience in data migration (legacy to SAP or SAP to SAP) and system separation tools.
• Understanding of cross-module integration (especially with SAP FICO, MM, and WM).
• Familiarity with intercompany sales, third-party sales, and tax determination.
• Strong experience with LSMW, BAPIs, IDocs, and middleware tools for data separation/migration.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the SAP SD workstream in carve-out or divestiture projects, from scoping to go-live and hypercare.
• Configure and adapt SD processes (Order to Cash, pricing, billing, delivery, shipping, and returns) for the newly formed legal entity or business unit.
• Design and implement solutions for new sales organizations, distribution channels, and divisions as part of legal entity separation.
• Coordinate with business and technical teams to extract, cleanse, migrate, and validate master and transactional data (customers, pricing, open sales orders, etc.).
• Work closely with SAP FICO, MM, PP, and other module leads to ensure seamless integration and business process continuity.
• Support cutover activities, test planning (SIT/UAT), and post-go-live support.
• Identify and mitigate carve-out risks to ensure minimal business disruption during and after separation.
• Document process flows, configurations, and changes clearly and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX, and audit requirements during carve-out transitions.
