Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • SAP SD Module Implementation:
  • Analyze business requirements and provide SAP SD solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Configure and customize the SAP SD module based on client-specific needs and industry best practices.
  • Ensure seamless integration of the Sales and Distribution module with other SAP modules like MM (Materials Management), FI (Financial Accounting), and CO (Controlling).
  • Configure and manage sales order processing, pricing, shipping, and billing within SAP.
  • Implement enhancements and modifications based on business requirements.
  • Sales Order Management:
  • Configure and manage order-to-cash processes in SAP SD.
  • Oversee the creation and processing of sales orders, invoices, and delivery documents.
  • Ensure correct integration between SAP SD, MM, and FI for order fulfillment, billing, and revenue recognition.
  • Pricing & Discounts Configuration:
  • Configure pricing procedures and discounts based on client-specific needs and contractual agreements.
  • Ensure that pricing calculations (like discounts, surcharges, taxes) are accurately handled within the SAP SD module.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot the pricing condition records for different business scenarios.
  • Customer Master Data Management:
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of customer master data in SAP, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
  • Implement best practices for managing customer-specific pricing, payment terms, and shipping conditions.
  • Integration & Troubleshooting:
  • Collaborate with other functional teams (MM, FI, WM, PP) for smooth integration and problem resolution.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to sales order processing, delivery, billing, and other SD functionalities.
  • Ensure data consistency across various SAP modules and systems.
  • End-User Support & Training:
  • Provide end-user support for SAP SD processes and resolve user queries.
  • Train key users and stakeholders on SAP SD functionality and best practices.
  • Create and update training documentation for new users and processes.
  • Project Management & Documentation:
  • Participate in project planning and execution for SAP SD-related enhancements or implementations.
  • Document business processes, customizations, and configurations for future reference and audits.
  • Ensure adherence to change management processes for SAP modifications and updates.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP SD functionalities, enhancements, and best practices.
  • Recommend and implement system improvements and efficiency enhancements within the SAP SD module.
  • Required Qualifications:
  • 2-6 years of experience in SAP SD module implementation and configuration.
  • Strong knowledge of Sales and Distribution processes such as order-to-cash (OTC), pricing, billing, and shipping.
  • Experience in integrating SAP SD with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FI, CO).
  • Hands-on experience with SAP SD configuration including pricing procedures, sales order processing, and customer master data.
  • Understanding of SAP integration technologies like IDoc, RFC, and BAPIs.
  • Good understanding of business processes in sales, order management, and distribution.
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and its functionalities for SD is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
