SAP PP VC_C2H

Key Responsibilities:

SAP PP (Production Planning) Configuration & Support:

• Configure and support core SAP PP processes, including:
• MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
• Production Order Management
• Capacity Planning
• Production Scheduling
• Work Center Management
• Routing and BOM (Bill of Materials) integration
• Lead and configure Make-to-Order (MTO) and Make-to-Stock (MTS) scenarios in SAP PP.

SAP VC (Variant Configuration) Expertise:

• Configure and support Variant Configuration (VC) for handling product variants and customizable products within the SAP system.
• Set up characteristics, classes, dependencies, and configuration profiles.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to define the configurable product structures.

Integration with Other Modules:

• Integrate SAP PP with MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and QM (Quality Management) for seamless order fulfillment and production execution.
• Collaborate with other SAP teams for PP-PI (Production Planning for Process Industries), EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), and PM (Plant Maintenance) integration.

Project Delivery & Support:

• Act as a subject matter expert during implementation, support, and rollout projects.
• Lead testing (unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing) for new implementations or system enhancements.
• Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and optimization of SAP PP and VC processes.

Training & Documentation:

• Create user manuals, training documents, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for SAP PP and VC processes.
• Train business users on Variant Configuration, production planning processes, and system enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PP (Production Planning) module.
• At least 2+ years of experience in SAP VC (Variant Configuration), including configuration of characteristics, classes, and dependencies.
• Strong understanding of production processes, materials management, and capacity planning.
• Experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA platforms.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with S/4HANA and the new VC concepts such as Fiori applications for configuration management.
• Exposure to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) integration.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, Kanban, or TOC (Theory of Constraints) in production environments.
• SAP PP or VC Certification (preferred).
