Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Implementation & Support: Facilitate the implementation and provide comprehensive support for SAP PP (Production Planning) modules, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality for clients.
  • Business Process Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements, identify, interpret, validate, and document customer needs to provide appropriate system solutions within SAP PP.
  • Requirements Collection & Mapping: Facilitate workshops to effectively collect business requirements. Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives to SAP functionalities, and develop necessary product modifications to satisfy client needs.
  • Design, Configuration & Testing: Design, customize, configure, and meticulously test SAP PP functionalities to ensure they meet specified business requirements and perform as expected.
  • Gap Analysis & Solutions: Identify gaps and issues between business processes and system capabilities, and propose effective workaround solutions.
  • Client Liaison & Troubleshooting: Act as a primary liaison with the client for troubleshooting, investigating, analyzing, and solving software problems related to SAP PP.
  • Change Management: Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high-priority issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Documentation: Document functional designs, develop detailed test cases, and record test results accurately for future reference and knowledge transfer.
  • Process & System Enhancement: Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements to continuously improve client operations and SAP utilization.
  • Consulting Services: Provide expert consulting services for both new SAP implementations and ongoing support projects.
  • Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as a crucial liaison between business functions and the technical team, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives.
  • Training & User Support: Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required, empowering end-users to effectively utilize SAP PP.
  • Mentorship: Work self-directed and independently; may act as a subject matter mentor to more junior team members, fostering their development.

Required Skills:
