SAP PP Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements related to production planning and convert them into SAP PP functional specifications.
• Configure SAP PP module components, including:
• Demand Management
• MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
• Work Center & Routing
• Capacity Planning
• Production Orders & Order Execution
• Shop Floor Control
• Integrate SAP PP with other modules like MM, SD, QM, and WM.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Support SAP implementation projects: blueprinting, realization, go-live, and post-go-live support.
• Prepare technical documentation, functional specs, user manuals, and training materials.
• Provide end-user training and handle production support issues (incident/problem/change requests).
• Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional SAP consultants.

Qualifications & Skills:

Essential:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience as an SAP PP Consultant.
• Strong functional knowledge of discrete, process, and/or repetitive manufacturing.
• Experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Solid understanding of integration points with MM, SD, and QM.
• Ability to write functional specifications for custom developments (interfaces, enhancements, reports).

Desirable:

• Exposure to PP-PI (Production Planning for Process Industries).
• Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP Activate methodology, or S/4HANA migration.
• SAP PP certification (preferred but not mandatory).
