Provide technical guidance on the configuration for SAP MDG systems, with special focus of SAP MDG. Data modelling, Process modelling and Data Replication using SOA Service and ALE/IDOCs using DRF+
Hands on expertise in determining and/or validating the development effort estimates.
Collaborate with various third-party stakeholders such as SAP, Basis Partners, Network partners to ensure smooth functioning of the SAP systems.
Understanding of SAP s product strategy and roadmap, including positioning of S/4 HANA and enabling tools and complementary technologies.
Upgrade experinece from SAP ECC to SAP S4 HANA will be a plus point.
Strong working experience in Interface techniques such as IDOC, BAPI/API, Outbound/Inbound Proxy, and Flat file Interfaces (handling files on Application Server and Presentation Server).
Expert in Designing and customizing of IDOC based Interfaces and IDOC enhancements.
Extensively worked on EDI IDOC (Inbound, Outbound, mapping with 3rd party logistics provider, message types, segment extension) and ALE (logical systems, ports, partner profiles).
Monitor the work of the technical team and ensure standards are adhered to in accordance with SAP s Solution Extensions.
Involved in the ECC (ABAP) part of the development which requires creating RFC function modules, creating Web Services for the function modules developed, creating End point URL s.
Understanding the Functional Specifications, preparing technical specifications, develop the ABAP code, perform and prepare the unit test document.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Deep understanding of SAP Master Data and 5+ years of experience as an SAP MDG System Architect responsible for making solution recommendations with focus on standard MDG capabilities and enhancements in standard solution as per requirements.
12+ years of hands on rich ABAP experience and familiar with latest ABAP coding syntaxes and programming experience using CDS/AMDP s.
Familiar with the Agile methods of delivery and any experience as a Product Owner is a plus.
Integration knowledge with ERP and other applications internal/external.
Strong working expeirence of running workshops with the key user community.
