SAP ILM Data Archiving Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze database growth and implement ILM archiving strategies
• Provide installation, configuration, and technical expertise for SAP ILM
• Assist in testing, validation, and impact assessment for archiving processes
• Coordinate with functional teams, external providers, and stakeholders
• Support productive ILM/IQ runs, output evaluation, and bug fixing
• Design, test, and manage SAP Archiving/ILM implementation phases (Production and Postproduction)
• Implement standard and custom archive objects across SAP modules
• Apply purging/hybrid DVM solutions for technical and functional tables using standard or external add-ons (e.g., PBS, TJC)
• Lead release management activities, including analyzing release notes, impact assessment, and SIT/UAT testing for upgrades and enhancements
• Perform ABAP/ABAP OO development for archiving solutions
• Ensure compliance with country-specific legal requirements and SAP data technology standards
• Support migration of SAP originals and unstructured data (e.g., GOS, DMS, SOFFCONTI)
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and cloud integration trends
