Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO Functional Consultant to join our team. This role demands a professional with a strong focus on SAP Financials, particularly in Controlling (CO), coupled with extensive experience across various FI sub-modules. You'll play a critical role in facilitating implementations, providing expert support, analyzing complex business requirements, and designing robust SAP solutions that align with client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- SAP Financials Implementation & Support:Facilitate the implementation and ongoing support of SAP Financials, with a core focus on FICO Controlling, including:
- Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
- Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
- Product Costing (CO-PC)
- Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
- Project System (PS)
- Results Analysis
- Unsettled Costs
- Month End Close (MEC)
- Overhead assessment and settlement.
- Business Analysis & Solution Design:Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions.
- Identify, interpret, validate, and meticulously document customer requirements.
- Facilitate workshops to gather comprehensive business requirements.
- Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives, then develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
- Design, customize, configure, and thoroughly test FI/CO modules.
- Identify gaps, issues, and propose effective workaround solutions.
- Troubleshooting & Support:Act as a key liaison with clients for troubleshooting; investigate, analyze, and resolve software problems.
- Document functional designs, test cases, and results accurately.
- Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
- Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects.
- Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
- Integration & Collaboration:Act as a liaison between business functions and the technical team.
- Work self-directed and independently; may act as a subject matter mentor to more junior team members.
Required Skills & Experience
- Overall SAP FICO Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects.
- SAP FI Experience: Minimum of 3 years SAP experience supporting General Ledger (GL), plus 3 or more of the following functions:
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Financial Accounting (FI)
- Management Accounting (CO)
- Fixed Asset Accounting (AA)
- Inter-company Accounting
- Project System (PS).
- Integration Expertise: Proven experience in FI integration points with other SAP modules like MM (Materials Management), HR (Human Resources), PP (Production Planning), and PM (Plant Maintenance).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops and translate business needs into technical solutions.
