Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO Functional Consultant to join our team. This role demands a professional with a strong focus on SAP Financials, particularly in Controlling (CO), coupled with extensive experience across various FI sub-modules. You'll play a critical role in facilitating implementations, providing expert support, analyzing complex business requirements, and designing robust SAP solutions that align with client objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • SAP Financials Implementation & Support:Facilitate the implementation and ongoing support of SAP Financials, with a core focus on FICO Controlling, including:
  • Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
  • Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
  • Product Costing (CO-PC)
  • Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
  • Project System (PS)
  • Results Analysis
  • Unsettled Costs
  • Month End Close (MEC)
  • Overhead assessment and settlement.
  • Business Analysis & Solution Design:Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions.
  • Identify, interpret, validate, and meticulously document customer requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops to gather comprehensive business requirements.
  • Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives, then develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
  • Design, customize, configure, and thoroughly test FI/CO modules.
  • Identify gaps, issues, and propose effective workaround solutions.
  • Troubleshooting & Support:Act as a key liaison with clients for troubleshooting; investigate, analyze, and resolve software problems.
  • Document functional designs, test cases, and results accurately.
  • Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
  • Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects.
  • Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
  • Integration & Collaboration:Act as a liaison between business functions and the technical team.
  • Work self-directed and independently; may act as a subject matter mentor to more junior team members.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Overall SAP FICO Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects.
  • SAP FI Experience: Minimum of 3 years SAP experience supporting General Ledger (GL), plus 3 or more of the following functions:
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Financial Accounting (FI)
  • Management Accounting (CO)
  • Fixed Asset Accounting (AA)
  • Inter-company Accounting
  • Project System (PS).
  • Integration Expertise: Proven experience in FI integration points with other SAP modules like MM (Materials Management), HR (Human Resources), PP (Production Planning), and PM (Plant Maintenance).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops and translate business needs into technical solutions.
