Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Business Requirements Analysis: Collect and analyze business requirements for SAP FICO enhancement projects, change requests, and incidents.
  • SAP FICO Configuration: Construct and configure SAP FICO functions, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO), to meet diverse business requirements.
  • Process Optimization & Gap Analysis: Perform a comprehensive gap analysis to identify potential areas for optimizing and streamlining processes within the SAP FICO modules.
  • Testing & Functional Specifications: Conduct thorough unit testing and develop detailed functional specifications to guarantee the precision and quality of SAP FICO solutions.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain up-to-date documentation covering all aspects of SAP FICO implementations and configurations.

Required Skills:

Mandatory:

  • Strong practical knowledge of SAP FICO.
  • In-depth knowledge of traditional FICO modules: AP, AR, GL, Project Systems, Investment Management, Asset Accounting, Cost centers, Cost elements, Budgeting, Planning, and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of Finance Systems Integrations and methods, i.e., IDocs.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and finance processes, principles, and optimal methodologies.
  • Certification in SAP FICO ECC 6.0.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge or experience in New GL, document splitting, Business Partners.
  • S/4HANA Certification.
