SAP FI Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP FI and CO modules, with a strong focus on Asset Accounting.
• Manage end-to-end SAP FICO project lifecycles, including requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, UAT, and go-live support.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP FICO, providing best practices and strategic guidance to clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
• Configure and oversee key financial processes: General Ledger, AP/AR, Asset Accounting, Product Costing, and Controlling.
• Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, PM) for accurate data flow and cross-module alignment.
• Mentor and guide junior consultants throughout configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
• Conduct client workshops, training sessions, and presentations demonstrating SAP FICO capabilities.
• Ensure timely and successful project delivery by managing timelines, budgets, resources, and client expectations.
• Define and implement reporting and analytics solutions using SAP Fiori, BW, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, leveraging SAP best practices and new innovations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with organizational and industry standards.
• Conduct Fit-to-Standard workshops and align processes using SAP Signavio flows.
• Navigate and demonstrate SAP standard processes and collect delta requirements.
• Implement Clean Core principles within the RTR workstream.
• Define and document detailed test cases based on delta requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Finance modules (FI, CO), including Asset Accounting.
• Proven expertise in implementing and configuring GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Product Costing, and CO processes.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end financial management processes—planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling.
• Deep knowledge of integration points between FICO and other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, PM, etc.).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based SAP financial solutions is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
