SAP Event Management

Teamware Solutions is seeking a specialized SAP Event Management (EM) Consultant to optimize and enhance our supply chain visibility solutions. You'll be crucial in designing, configuring, and implementing SAP EM functionalities to provide real-time tracking and intelligent event processing, significantly improving operational transparency and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement SAP Event Management (EM) solutions, integrating with other SAP modules (e.g., ECC, TM, EWM, GRC) and external systems.
• Translate complex business requirements for supply chain visibility and event processing into effective SAP EM configurations and solutions.
• Develop and manage Event Handlers, Event Message Types, Rule Sets, and Web Interface (Web UI) functionalities within SAP EM.
• Configure Expected Events, Unexpected Events, and Event Processors to automate alerts and actions.
• Perform data mapping, data migration, and ensure data integrity within the SAP EM landscape.
• Provide functional and technical support, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing SAP EM system performance.
• Create comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, test plans, and user training materials.
• Collaborate with business users, project teams, and technical developers (ABAP, Basis) to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an SAP Event Management Consultant or Specialist.

Skills Required:

• Strong functional expertise in SAP Event Management (EM), including configuration of Event Handlers, Rule Sets, and the EM Web UI.
• Solid understanding of supply chain processes and the role of event management in enhancing visibility.
• Experience with integration technologies between SAP EM and other SAP modules (e.g., ECC SD/LE, TM) and non-SAP systems.
• Knowledge of ABAP fundamentals for debugging and working with technical teams on enhancements.
• Familiarity with related SAP technologies like SAP GRC, SAP TM, or SAP EWM is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• SAP Certification in Supply Chain Management or SAP EM.
• Experience with S/4HANA Logistics or S/4HANA Supply Chain.
• Knowledge of Fiori applications relevant to logistics and event monitoring.
• Project experience in logistics, transportation, or manufacturing industries.
